Ontario City Hall will continue to be closed to the general public in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes the front desk reception area and the Community Development Center. The closure will extend to Friday, May 15, 2020, at which point we will reassess the situation.
Business and services will continue to be conducted at the city and the following means can be used to assist the needs of our community members.
Free drive-up testing for COVID-19 will be available Wednesday, April 29th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Malheur County Fairgrounds. See the following flyer and press release for additional information.

We take these measures out of an abundance of caution. The City still needs to provide the services citizens rely on such as water, wastewater, fire, and police. Taking these measures will help us keep our essential services without disruption. Dan Cummings, our Community Development Director has posted information regarding the US Small Business Association's Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.
The EIDL (Economic Injury Disaster Loan) now offers up to a $10,000 grant (loan advance) which does not need to be repaid if the money is spent on paid leave, maintaining payroll, increased costs due to supply chain disruption, mortgage or lease payments or repaying obligations that cannot be met due to revenue losses. Sparklight announced that it will extend unlimited data on all internet plans through May 12, 2020 in an effort to assist customers and provide continued connectivity for customers impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
