Car Seat Fitting
Ontario Police Department and Fire & Rescue host a monthly Car Seat Fitting Station at City Hall on the second Thursday of every month from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Volunteers are on hand to assist in finding out if your car seat is properly installed, if you have the correct car seat for your child's age and weight or if your car seat is on a recall list.
If you have questions about the program or would like to volunteer, contact Sheri Smith at (541) 881-3238 or by email at email@example.com.
You can find the next Car Seat Fitting on the Community Calendar.
Dog licenses must be renewed on a yearly basis. Licenses will expire on the last day of the month, one year from the date of issue. For example, if you purchase a license for your dog on November 12th of this year, the license will expire November 30 the following year.
Please fill out the dog registration form, attach a copy of its current rabies vaccine, and return it to the front desk at City Hall. If your pet has been spayed or neutered, documentation from the vet must be presented to qualify for the reduced fee. A completed dog license application is required at the time of license.
Ontario dog licenses can also be purchased at Ontario Veterinary Clinics.
Call the City Hall front desk at (541) 881-3201 for additional questions.
The Ontario Police Department offers fingerprinting for a fee of $15.00 per card.
This service is offered by appointment only and will only be scheduled for Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. To make an appointment, call (541) 881-3201, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
