Ontario Police & Clergy Alliance Program
The Ontario Police Department (OPD) places great value on developing trust and connecting with the community members we serve. In 2020, OPD launched its Police-Clergy Alliance Program that brings the department and faith-based leaders to the table for the purpose of building long-term relationships, trust, and to seek out solutions for community concerns.
Through the purposeful leadership of faith-based community leaders, OPD is able to reach large numbers of community members for actionable purposes such as outreach and intervention. The Police-Clergy Alliance Program leaders meet quarterly with the Chief of Police to discuss community concerns and positive initiatives.
Currently, pastor Tom Greco form the Ontario Community Church serves as the group’s lead facilitator and coordinator. For additional information, contact Pastor Tom Greco (541) 889-8140 or Pastor Hector Juarez (541) 889-4722.
