Fixed Base Operator

Silverhawk Aviation Academy is the Ontario Airport FBO and provides fueling services, a pilot's lounge, aviation supplies, a courtesy car, Enterprise rental services, and more. 

Airport Committee

Airport Committee members are appointed by the Ontario City Council to review Airport related projects, events, etc. and provide City Council with recommendations. Committee meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 6:00 PM at the Ontario City Hall in the Council Chambers. In the event this falls on a holiday, the meeting will be held that Tuesday. ACE Academy

The Aerospace Career Exploration Academy promotes STEM through the lens of aviation. Teens and teachers can apply to participate in Ontario's ACE Academy which raises awareness about aviation/aerospace careers, promotes STEM disciplines, and builds positive public awareness of general aviation in our region. Airport Appreciation Day

Airport Appreciation Day in combination with KONO Open House ...  Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Once a community staple, the Ontario Air Show is making a come-back in the form of Ontario's Airport Appreciation Day. The event will feature a fly-in for pilots, live entertainment, EAA Young Eagles plane rides, food, and displays for unique planes, show cars, and motorcycles. 

EAA Breakfast

The Experimental Aviation Association hosts a breakfast every Saturday morning at 8 AM at Ontario Municipal Airport. Love aviation? Join in for good food and good conversation. 

Life Flight

Life Flight Network provides air medical transport services throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. They provide ICU-level care and life-saving transport. Life Flight has a helicopter base located at the Ontario Airport. 

KONO Open House

Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the Ontario Municipal Airport will be hosting an open house.  Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.

Silver Hawk Flight School

Since 1998, Silverhawk Aviation Academy's certified flight instructors have mentored, guided, and pre-pared students for their dream careers in the aviation industry. They'll help you gain competency at your own pace, working one-on-one with the Ontario-based instructors. 

TVCC Flight School

Treasure Valley Community College offers a full-range flight school program with training to become a professional fixed-wing or helicopter pilot. Classes and flights are held at the Ontario Airport. 

Agricultural Spray Planes

Spray planes play a vital role to our agriculture community. Planes spray thousands of of acres of fields each year.

​A&P Mechanic On-Field

Flying W Aviation is located at the Ontario Airport and provides all forms of airplane maintenance. Their shop is located at 585 SW 33rd Street (attached to the Life Flight hangar.

Back Country Grass Runway

The Cash Preston Lee Troyer Runway was dedicated in 2018 and serves as a grass runway for back country flyers. This runway is the result of generous donations of funds, materials, and time. 

BLM SEAT Program

The Bureau of Land Management's Single Engine Airtanker (SEAT) program is used across the nation to support firefighting efforts on the ground from the air. SEAT planes are based at Ontario Airport during forest fire season. 

Experimental Aircraft Association

SREAA Chapter 837 Club
The EAA is a membership group passionate about aviation and passing that enthusiasm on to others. Members also participate in the Young Eagles program which provides youth ages 8-17 with a free ride in an airplane. 

Young Eagles

The Young Eagles Program is part of the Experimental Aviation Association. The goal of this program is to "introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation." This program provides youth ages 8-17 with a free plane ride, courtesy of EAA member volunteers.
