America's Global Village

When: First week of June (Annual)
What: America's Global Village celebrates Ontario's diversity through food, dance, music, education, and games. Tents representing various cultural communities offer cultural cuisine and teach about their history and heritage. At the center of the village Scottish clans participate in the Highland Games. Also, an event stage holds special performances of music and dance throughout the day.

Chocolate and  Wine Walk

When: First week of May (Annual)
What: Each year, Revitalize Ontario! hosts the Chocolate and Wine Walk in Downtown Ontario. This evening stroll involves a passport, guiding individuals to restaurants and businesses in Downtown Ontario where they sample chocolate and wine.

Summer

Fourth of July Fireworks

When: Independence Day
What: Enjoy the final hours of Independence Day as the sun goes down and the fireworks go up. Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, this late night tradition starts the summer off with a bang as we celebrate our Nation's independence.

Japanese Obon Festival

What: The Idaho-Oregon Buddhist Temple presents this annual event each summer. The festival includes food, demonstrations, and Obon dancing.

Airport Appreciation Day

What: An annual Airport event is making a come-back in Ontario! This year's Airport Appreciation Day will mark the first time in over a decade that the City can come together and enjoy the skies. This year's celebration will include a fly-in for pilots, food, EAA Young Eagles plane rides, and displays for planes, show cares, and motorcycles.

Live After 5 in the Gardens

When: Wednesdays in the Summer - 4RCC Event Calendar
What: Four Rivers Cultural Center hosts this outdoor concert series at the Hikaru Mizu Japanese Garden. Free admission, music, and food and drinks catered by local restaurants.

Malheur County Fair

When: Beginning of August
What: Ontario plays host to the Malheur County Fair each year at the County Fairgrounds. Food, animals, games, live entertainment and much more! Join us as we come together to celebrate Malheur County!

Winter

Winter Wonderland Parade

When: First Saturday of December 
What: Each winter, Ontario kicks off the holiday season with the Winter Wonderland Parade. The parade travels down SW 4th Avenue and ends in Downtown Ontario. Marching bands, floats, and Santa are all part of this holiday tradition.

Festival of Trees

When: December
What: The Festival of Trees celebrated its 30th anniversary last year. This fundraising event helps Meals on Wheels in Malheur County and Help Them to Hope in surrounding areas.
