Bid Information:
Sealed Bids for construction for the Old Water Treatment Plant Improvements 2024, addressed to City of Ontario, Attention: Marshall Pierce, will be received at the office of the City of Ontario Public Works, 1551 N.W. 9th Street, Ontario, OR, 97914, (Owner), until 10:00 AM, local time, on October 3rd, 2024. Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered.
The Project consists of:
The Work will be substantially completed in all respects in 480 days from the notice to proceed.
Bidding Documents can be secured electronically for $22 through the following service: QuestCDN, at https://www.questcdn.com/; Project Number 9277559, or from the City of Ontario website at https://www.ontariooregon.org/bids-1.html.
Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders.
Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
Prior to submission of its Bid, Bidder shall be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board.
Bidders are not required to be prequalified by Owner to perform the type and size of Work contemplated herein.
Bidders shall be qualified in accordance with the applicable parts of ORS 279C.430 through ORS 279C.450 in order to submit a Bid.
In order to submit a Bid, Bidders shall comply with the requirements listed in the Instructions to Bidders.
No Bid will be received or considered by Owner unless the Bid contains, or is accompanied by, a statement by Bidder that Bidder accepts prevailing wage rate provisions required by ORS 279C.840.

An optional pre-bid conference will be held on September 17th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time at the Water Treatment Plant, 1900 SE 5th Avenue, Ontario, Oregon 97914. Refer to Instructions to Bidders for additional
information. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not a mandatory requirement of submitting a Bid for this Project.
Owner’s right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the
Bidding Documents.
The Project consists of:
- Replacing the existing flocculation equipment in the two (2) treatment trains of the Old Water Treatment Plant building.
- Replacing the existing sludge screw collectors at the bottom of the settling basins in the two (2) treatment trains of the Old Water Treatment Plant building.
- All incidental work, including but not limited to demolition, disposal of materials, equipment delivery, installation, electrical work, startup and testing, and coordination with equipment suppliers.
