Bid Information:
Sealed Bids for construction for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Headworks Screen Replacement Project, addressed to City of Ontario Public Works, Attention: Marshall Pierce, will be received at the office of the City of Ontario Public Works, 1551 N.W. 9th Street, Ontario, OR, 97914, (Owner), until 2:00 PM, MDT on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered.
Bids will then be publicly opened and read. A virtual Bid opening will NOT be held.

The work is required to be completed within 300 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
Bidding documents can be secured electronically for $22.00 through the following service: QuestCDN, at https://www.questcdn.com/; Project Number 9637613.
Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders.
Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
Prior to submission of its Bid, Bidder shall be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board.
Bidders are not formally required to be prequalified by Owner to perform the type and size of Work contemplated herein. However, bidders are required to meet the qualifications of having performed similar projects as called out in the Instruction to Bidders.
Bidders shall be qualified in accordance with the applicable parts of ORS 279C.430 through ORS 279C.450 in order to submit a Bid.
In order to submit a Bid, Bidders shall comply with the requirements listed in the Instructions to Bidders.
No Bid will be received or considered by Owner unless the Bid contains, or is accompanied by, a statement by Bidder that Bidder accepts prevailing wage rate provisions required by ORS 279C.840.

Attendance at a pre-bid conference is not a mandatory requirement of submitting a Bid for this Project, but it is encouraged. A pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 2 PM local time at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 2405 Malheur Drive, Ontario, Oregon 97914. Refer to Instructions to Bidders for additional information.
Owner’s right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents.

- Procurement, removal and installation of an in-kind headworks mechanical screen, wash down compactor and control system.
- Installation of a new manual bar screen and two slide gates.
- Demolition and removal of existing septage receiving equipment.
- Minor ancillary work including but not limited to installation of a mechanical louver, repairing and replacing CMU block walls, penetrations and other miscellaneous appurtenances.
