The city received a $67,298 grant from the Oregon Transportation Committee. The budget committee approved an additional $7,703 as a grant match. These funds will go toward the design engineering of the North-South Trail which will connect Lion's Park with the State Recreation Park on the north side of Ontario. Combined with the Treasure Valley Connector Trail, this will offer approximately 3 miles of multi-purpose trail. The Treasure Valley Connector Trail on alongside Park Boulevard.
