The Fall Cleanup Program is back! Last year, Jacobs picked up over 100 truckloads of leaves, branches, and yard debris around Ontario. This year's pickup will occur between November 16-20. Please see the details below.
Community in Action and the City of Ontario will hold a workshop for five potential sites for the temporary homeless shelter. The workshop will take place Thursday, October 22, 2020, from 2-6PM at the Four Rivers Cultural Center. You can also participate online by taking a survey here. The survey closes next Tuesday, October 27. We invite the community to add their feedback to either event!
The City of Ontario is proud to present its new logo and brand! This effort was initiated by a $20,000 grant, submitted by the City and Four Rivers Cultural Center, which paid for the services of Trademark to design the brand and wayfinding specs. We're so grateful for all the feedback we received from community members and organizations during the design process!
The installation of the wayfinding system will begin in 2021. To learn more about this project, visit here. Last night, Council President Dan Capron was presented with a plaque commemorating his service for the City of Ontario. Mr. Capron resigned in anticipation of a move outside of the City. We are grateful for his service on the Council and in many other committees that he was involved in and wish him and his family luck for all future endeavors!
