What do we do?

The grant committee is made up of city department members and is focused on seeking and securing grant funding for city projects to complement the city budget. The committee identifies funding opportunities, coordinates applications, and ensures that awarded grants align with the city’s priorities and community needs.

Please note: This committee is an internal working group and is not related to the public boards or committees established by City Council who fund grants. ​Made possible through an OSFM grant, the Fire Department’s Training Center has become a valuable facility supporting hands-on training for the Fire Department, Police Department, City staff, and community partners.
